Team Mondo
So, I have been a project runway fan since day one.I normally pick my favorite based on ethnicity or region in which that person is from.
Well Mondo has stolen my heart and I am a total fan.

So last week was so busy but Sunday I had a blast catching up on all the shows that I missed last week.Ummm, Where should I start.
Okay so lets start with Yesterday and work backwards.
My eye candy on Design Star is gone.

I was so happy to hear that Courtland was married, there is such an unfortunate stereo type label that is placed on Interior and Clothing designers. He made some grave missteps while on the show and I really hated that he ALWAYS did that plaster looking wall finish BUT because he did it for 8 episodes I now know how to do it too. I HEART AARTI!!!
I was on the edge of my seat while watching the WHOLE Episode. I was so scared that she wasnt moving fast enough... that she wastn going to finish... I was screaming at the TV for her to hurry.
When the Iron Chef Cat Cora said"Damn Girl" those were my thoughts exactly. I was so excited to see how well she did. I dont eat shrimp... I dont actually eat meat and she really make that Shrimp look great. I dont like shrimp because its so Pink and slimy looking but she made is look so delicious.
I also found her food blog. I am so excited. We are in our last week on Indian food and we have to do a recipe from her blog.
Even though her blog doesnt say if she won yet but I KNOW that Food Network really needs her. She is a total Star to me and I really hope that once she wins that she keeps up her blog.

So Keesha and I have a theory. We think that PR is on its last leg. Once it moved From Bravo to Lifetime I dont think that the talent followed them. I have this sad feeling that they are in their last seasons.
The episodes are trying to do to much... to many unsuccessful things. Maybe isnt because I dont throw clothing away once the button comes off now that I have learned to sew but Im just not as impressed anymore.
Now dont get me wrong, I will keep watching because I just have to but its not the same.
I have been wrong before and maybe I should not judge a show by 2 episodes but we will have to see how it goes.

Work of Art, the search for the next great artist is a really cool show. I like being able to watch art from the beginning to showroom.... that is a rare experience and I guess that is why its so special to me.
I have finally found the Artist that I want to win.
He is young and ultra talented.

I can not wait for the next few episodes because most seasons are coming to an end. 3 of 4 of the shows that I review are in the finals. I can not wait to see the shows this week.

Master Chef
Yesterday was the Series Premiere of a New Cooking Show... Master Chef on FoxCall me ol'school but once I get a favorite show I dont like others to come in and try to be like it. Dont try to be like an Iron Chef or Hell's Kitchen.
Master Chef is proven to be something totally new!
The idea is to take 30 Home Cooks and turn them into Chefs. Of Course only the best Chefs in the country can be their judges.
The Fabulous Gordon Ramsey, The owner of 30 Restaurants Joe Bastianich, and my personal fav Graham Elliot.You can watch this weeks episode here or check it out Tuesdays right after Hell's Kitchen.

I know that everyone has their favorite but these two represent the two things that I love the most.
Im so GLAD that Nina from Design Star has been kicked off last week. Its always great to be confident. When you know that you are talented you dont have to tell everyone... They will be able to smell you a mile off. She was so full of herself that is was actually comical.
You all already know who I am cheering for on Next Food Nextwork Star (Go Aarti)... but I have not honestly been extremely impressed with the designers on Design Star. They are in the middle of the road for me... No one stands out to me as the leader of the pack. I thought that it was Nina, but soon realized that was only because she brain washed me into believing that with her "Im the best designer" affirmations.
Ummm, I do have a few request of the current HGTV stars

I Love your show, I Love your POV and I LOVE Morocco BUT I am getting tired of seeing the same color pallet (hues of yellow), curtains that drag on the floor and middle eastern deco. I know that you have it in you Homegirl to really surprise me... show me something new, teach me something and please make me wonder what color you are going to pull out of that bag

He was the winner of last seasons Design Star. I was so looking forward to his show. Haven't seen it yet. All that HGTV shows now a days are homes no one can afford and other people buying houses during the worst economical time in the History of the United States.
Now, I want to make sure that I make this clear I love you both Food and HGTV , I love you both very much but a little constructive criticism never hurt a soul.

I have only been cheering for two contestants Brianna and Aarti
Even though I really liked Brianna she was so not camera ready and she dressed inappropriately for the challenges. Best to you Brianna... you were a great cook.
Food Network is totally ready for an Indian Chef... Come on Aarti!!!
